Kale originally joined the family business in 2018.   Kale took on his role at Keabray Energy, not because his family owns the business, but because the great accountability and team focused atmosphere.  Kale’s core professional values include providing the best quality work and service–values that align with Keabray Energy and Absolute Heavy Duty--so the fit with the family business is a perfect one.

 

Keabray was Kale’s first job on a part time basis, but he left for a time to experience working for other employers including as a Tire Technician and as a meat cutter at a local Butcher shop.  Returning to Keabray after these experiences, Kale worked as a hotshot and pilot truck driver building upon foundational skills within the business to prepare him for more senior roles.  Kale’s burgeoning skillset showed great aptitude and he has become the Assistant Parts Manager for both Keabray Energy’s shop and Absolute Heavy Duty’s shop locations.

 

Kale believes that in order to be the best he can be for the business, it is his responsibility to gain a deeper understanding of the inner workings of the business and its equipment.   These are the major reasons why Kale is in the process of obtaining his Red Seal as a Parts Technician and will also be obtaining his Class 1 License. 

 

Kale’s personal interests include playing hockey, camping, fishing and has plans to grow his own Red Angus cattle herd in the very near future.
