Braydon has been part of the Oil and Gas sector since graduating high school. He began in the industry working as a Swamper with a pumpjack service business that is located in Drayton Valley. He joined the family business full time in 2018 initially in a Safety Advisory role. He quickly grew into the role and is now Keabray Energy's Health and Safety Manager.
Braydon has obtained his Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Certificate from University of Alberta. He holds a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation from the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA). Braydon is currently engaging with the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) and working towards obtaining his Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation.
Braydon's Management responsibilities include:
Ongoing monitoring of Health and Safety Management System, including maintenance of Keabray’s standing with Safety systems such as ISN, Comply Works, CSN and others.
Internal advisory on safety and regulatory compliance requirements
Leading and assisting with safety investigations
Completing safety inspections at minimum as required or when deemed necessary
Lead and assist Provincial Certificate of Recognition (COR) internal audits
Responsible for working with and managing a Safety Advisor that reports directly to him.
Braydon has grown up in the Drayton Valley community, and began showing an interest in the family business from a young age. Braydon is proud to be part of the Keabray Energy family legacy.
